Read this before you dig in: Pool Set AI is a coaching and analysis tool — not a substitute for certified sports medicine, professional coaching contracts, or match officiating. AI-generated reports are suggestions, not guarantees. Use your judgment on court.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pool Set AI (the "App"), published by Lucia Berch ("we", "us", "the developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What the App Does

Pool Set AI is an AI-powered volleyball analysis assistant. It allows you to submit a written description of a volleyball scenario or upload a photo of a game moment. The App then generates structured analysis reports and provides an interactive AI coaching chat focused on technique, tactics, rotations, and training.

The App is designed for players, coaches, and volleyball enthusiasts who want structured feedback on court situations. It is an educational and analytical tool — not a replacement for in-person coaching, medical advice, or official competition rules.

3. What You Provide — and What You Do Not

When using the App, you may submit:

  • Text — descriptions of volleyball situations, questions, or tactical scenarios.
  • Photos — images of court moments you select from your device.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload images or text that violate others' rights, contain unlawful material, or include personal information you do not wish to be processed. The App does not facilitate communication between users — there is no peer-to-peer data sharing.

The developer does not collect personal data such as your name, email, or phone number through the App itself. For details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with independent third-party services. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

OpenAI — AI Content Generation

Analysis reports and coaching chat responses are generated using OpenAI, a third-party artificial intelligence service. When you submit text or a photo, that content is transmitted to OpenAI for processing. Only the message or image you provide is sent — no personal profile data accompanies it, because the App does not collect such information.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, oversimplifications, or suggestions that do not apply to your specific context. You acknowledge that AI output is probabilistic, not authoritative, and should be evaluated critically before applying it in training or competition.

OneSignal — Push Notifications

OneSignal is a third-party service used to deliver push notifications. By enabling notifications, you consent to OneSignal processing a device identifier for message delivery. You may disable notifications through your device settings at any time.

Singular — Analytics

Singular is a third-party analytics and attribution service that helps the developer understand App installs and general usage patterns through anonymized device-level data. The developer does not use this data to identify individual users.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All reports, scores, recommendations, and chat responses produced by Pool Set AI are generated by artificial intelligence. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Specifically:

  • Evaluation scores (e.g., the ten-point scale) are AI estimates, not certified performance metrics.
  • Tactical suggestions may not account for all variables present in a live match environment.
  • Technical advice is general in nature and may not suit every body type, skill level, or playing surface.
  • The App does not diagnose injuries or provide medical guidance of any kind.

You agree to use AI-generated content as one input among many — alongside your own experience, your coach's guidance, and common sense.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or AI models.
  • Use automated systems to scrape, overload, or abuse the App's analysis or chat features.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored professional coaching certification.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, branding, and original content are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated reports are provided for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with volleyball training and study. You retain ownership of the text and photos you submit, but grant the App permission to process them through third-party AI services for the purpose of generating analysis.

8. Session & Availability

The App maintains one active analysis session at a time on your device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App or its third-party integrations. Service interruptions, AI model updates, or network conditions may affect response quality or speed. The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI-generated content. This includes, without limitation, damages related to training decisions, match outcomes, injuries, or tactical choices made based on App output.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction of the developer, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
